HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Skating in the Park opens on November 27, just in time for the holiday season.
The outdoor ice skating rink, located behind the Huntsville Museum of Art and adjacent to Big Spring International Park, will be open through January 5, 2025.
Visitors of all ages are invited to glide across the ice, with rental skates available at the entrance. For those not as confident on their feet, scooters are also offered to assist.
Light refreshments can be purchased on-site, and nearby downtown restaurants provide a variety of dining options for a full outing.
Skating in the Park is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance, and the rink is open during the following hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Friday: 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Ticket prices for the rink:
- $15 for ages 10 & up
- $10 for ages 9 and under
- $13 for groups of 10 or more
- $5 for scooter rental
- $5 discount if you bring your own skates
- 10% discount at the Museum Store when you show your skating wristband
