ALABAMA, USA — Strong storms hit the Tennessee Valley Tuesday night.
Here's a look at some of the damage from the storms that left a trail from Mississippi across North Alabama.

Crews just cleaned up this tree here at Austinville Road and James Street.
They just opened up the road about 20 minutes ago.
We talked people who live in the area who heard the tree snap... and they walked out of their home to see this.
The storm that caused this damage caused many people in the area to take shelter.
Our own Kelly Kennedy took cover in a community shelter in Lawrence County earlier tonight with dozens of others.
She spoke to one man who was comforting his baby the whole time.
He and his family there were wearing masks.
The man told her he was concerned about the coronavirus - but said taking shelter from a tornado was a risk he was willing to take to stay safe.
Fortunately, we haven't gotten any reports of injuries.
