"Stuff the Stocking" collecting toys and more for local hospital patients

Each department provided a list of its key needs, which can be found on the Foundation’s website.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala — Huntsville Hospital Foundation is hosting a “Stuff the Stocking” donation box to collect toys, toiletries and other items for patients who are hospitalized at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children (HHW&C) during the holidays. The campaign will run through December 30th.

“Stuff the Stocking provides a tangible way for families and organizations to help our pediatric and adult patients this holiday season,” said Elizabeth Sanders, vice president of HHW&C. “No one wants to be away from home this time of year, but we hope these donations can touch those in departments all across our hospital. Just the gift of a toy, blanket or gift card can bring joy and brighten their day. We are incredibly appreciative of everyone who chooses to donate.”

Benefiting departments include Pediatrics, Mother/Baby, the Neonatal ICU, Labor & Delivery, the Breast Center, Antepartum and more. Each department provided a list of its key needs, which can be found on the Foundation’s website.

If you are interested in giving items, you can drop off all donations at the "Stuff the Stocking" donation box by the Security desk in the Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children lobby (245 Governors Dr SW, Huntsville). All items must be brand new, unused and unwrapped. The Foundation encourages you to include the department for which your donation is intended, taped to the outside of your gift.
