MERIDIANVILLE, Ala. — Madison County investigators are working to find the person that allegedly opened fire in a Meridianville neighborhood Friday evening, injuring one.
Officials say the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. on Edisto Circle, just north of Oscar Patterson Rd. in the Bermuda Lakes subdivision.
One person was taken to the hospital, officials confirmed. We are working to get updates on the victim's age and condition.
The sheriff's office says no one has been taken into custody as of Saturday afternoon and will provide updates about the investigation as they come in.
