SCOTTSBORO, Ala. — Scottsboro Police report that a suspicious device was found Friday morning at the Unclaimed Baggage receiving facility on Heroes Drive. The call came in just before 8:00 a.m.
Police asked for help from the FBI's North Alabama Violent Crime Task Force, which sent Task Force agents as well as the Huntsville Police Explosives Unit to assist,
SPD says the device was found to be "not explosive in nature" and the scene was cleared and released.
