MERIDIANVILLE, Ala. — Tate Farms will host its Annual Pumpkin Destruction Day on November 2, offering a fun-filled experience for families.
The event runs from 9 a.m. until approximately 7 p.m., culminating in a fireworks show. Admission is $30 for ages 2 and older, which includes access to various pumpkin-smashing activities. Participants can enjoy hitting pumpkins off a tee, throwing them at a dartboard, or smashing them with mallets.
Special attractions for the day include the Predator monster truck, featuring three smashing shows, and a monster ride truck available for $10 per person. There will also be three Paul Bunyan lumberjack shows.
Guests can participate in professional face painting, enjoy a Tannerite explosion, and watch a 10-minute fireworks display. Regular activities will include corn bins, slides, hayrides, and barnyard animals, along with food trucks offering BBQ, wings, and more. Live music will feature Lane Maury and the Uneven Lanes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the Brandon Elder Band from 3 to 6 p.m.
The admission fee includes pumpkins for smashing.
