HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The fall season brings a variety of festive events to North Alabama. Here’s a roundup of activities for pumpkin lovers and autumn fans:

Hidden Rivers Farms in Hartselle offers a range of activities from September 20 to November 3. Visit Fridays from 4-8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 

McGee Farm in Florence features over 25 pumpkin varieties and farm-life activities, including a hay play area, barnyard bounce, and chicken feeding. Hours are Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Times are subject to change.

Scarecrow Trail at Huntsville Botanical Garden runs from September 1 to October 31. Enjoy a celebration of fall with pumpkins, scarecrows, campouts, and nature hikes.

Down on the Farm in Rainsville will be open from September 21 to November 1. Activities include a corn maze, pumpkin painting, hayrides, a simulated milking cow, playground, petting zoo, pony hops, and more. Hours are Saturdays from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Boyd Family Farms in Hazel Green, the pumpkin patch runs from September 28 to October 20. 

Hines Family Farm in Killen will have pumpkins, corn, sweet potatoes, and mums available on weekends throughout October.

Barking Cow Farms in Hazel Green is open from September 28 to October 20. Attractions include wagon rides, a corn bin, jumpy pillow, barrel train rides, giant slides, and a petting zoo.

The Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden offers hayrides, inflatables, a petting zoo, pony rides, extreme bungee, and more from September 28 to November 3. Hours are Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday from 1-6 p.m.

Tate Farms in Meridianville is open from September 25 to October 28. Highlights include pumpkin patch visits, train rides, a straw maze, corn and pumpkin cannons, and a petting zoo. Pumpkin Destruction Day is on November 2.

Sand Mountain Corn Maze in Sardis City features wagon rides, pumpkin picking, cow train rides, corn blasters, duck races, slides, and a play barn.

Lyon Family Farms in Taft, TN, is open from September 20 to October 27. Enjoy a pumpkin patch, hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, and more. Hours are Wednesday-Thursday from 12-6 p.m., Friday from 12-8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday from 1-7 p.m.

4D Farm in Cullman is open from September 28 to November 2. Enjoy a jumping pillow, barnyard coaster, cow train, and more. 

Punkin’ Pickin’ Extravaganza at the North Alabama Railroad Museum is on October 12. Take a train ride to pick a pumpkin. 

The Belue Place in Lexington offers a hayride to the pumpkin patch and other activities. Open fall weekends with admission at $12 per person.

Cornutt Farms in Boaz opens September 30 to October 28. Admission includes a pumpkin, hay ride, petting zoo, and more. Open Saturdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
