Tie-Dye Fun and Splash Bash at Huntsville Parks this week

Kids under 12 can enjoy tie-dyeing and popsicles on July 9, followed by fun at the splash pad. On July 12, ages 3-5 can return for music, crafts, and more.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Parks & Recreation is hosting two family-friendly events this week as part of its Parks and Recreation Month celebration.

On Tuesday, July 9, from 9 a.m. to noon, children ages 12 and under are invited to join "Tie Dye in July" at the Brahan Spring Park pavilion. They can enjoy tie-dying, popsicles, and fun activities. Afterward, they can cool off at the EveryBody Can Play splash pad.

Then, on Friday, July 12, from 9 to 11 a.m., children ages 3-5 are welcome back to the splash pad for the "Splish Splash Bash." The event will feature music, popsicles, crafts, and more. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
