Home run wedding: How to get hitched at Toyota Field

Wedded bliss can begin at the ballpark. The home of the Trash Pandas now accepts bookings for parties and private events.

MADISON, Ala. — The ultimate home run - marriage - can now take place at the ballpark. Toyota Field, home of the Rocket City Trash Pandas, is now accepting bookings for weddings as well as other larger-scale parties and private events.

Ballpark leadership says the site is now registered on The Knot and Wedding Wire. Even the pre-game to the big day can be reserved at Toyota Field: During the off-season, both the Trash Pandas and visiting team clubhouses can be rented out for bachelor and bachelorette parties.

The Trash Pandas event staff pledge to work to design the perfect event. They boast a memorable soiree of all sizes - from a 25-person bash to a private concert for 10,000 of your closest friends.

There are many places on-site for a cocktail or dinner party, including the climate-controlled SportsMed Stadium Club. And after the "main event" of any party, guests can take a few swings at the Wicks Family Foundation batting cages.

All the outdoor-accessible amenities, including the 360-degree concourse, infield and warning tracks are available for use.

Other events that ballpark staff recommend for consideration include corporate outings, business mixers, high school proms, holiday parties, church retreats, fundraising outings and more.

Food options include bespoke menus created by North Alabama Catering, the in-house food and beverage department of Toyota Field. Click here to see this season's menu options.

Staff asks for a minimum of 14 days advance notice so they can give your event their best consideration.
