Love baseball? Work for the Rocket City Trash Pandas.

The team is looking for candidates who have great energy and enthusiasm to work at Trash Pandas home games.

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — The Rocket City Trash Pandas are still looking to hire gameday staff at Toyota Field.

The team said it is looking for candidates who have great energy and enthusiasm to work at Trash Pandas home games. Positions are available in various departments ranging from food and beverage to web and creative services.

With games underway at Toyota Field, the Trash Pandas are making sure they are equipped with enough personnel. Now six home games into the season, they've discovered they are starved for workers in certain areas. According to Rocket City Trash Pandas staff, concessions is definitely the biggest need, whether it be cashiers or food runners or cooks or people in the warehouse.

Another big need is cooks for catering areas, premium levels, and concession stands. Bartenders are also needed for the club.

And they're trying different things to generate interest in working for the Trash Pandas, like a referral bonus.

Executive Chef Ryan Curry says, "We're trying to come up with creative ways for our team members to get them to bring in their buddies, family, cousins, neighbors, nephews. So, we came up with an incentive program, which is very lucrative. Anyone they recommend, if they come in and work 30 games, the person who recommended them, we'll give them $200 cash. Trying to do everything we can to get as many bodies in here as we can."

Lindsey Knupp, Vice President of Marketing and Promotions, says, "We're looking for more folks who want to apply. Go online. Go on our website. Download our application. Get it sent in to us. We'll definitely interview you. Get you on board and have you come on and join our team.

We spoke to one worker about her experience and she said, "It's an awesome environment. I've made a few friendships here already. We're very positive. We're full of energy. We're here to have a good time and we're here to make the fans have a good time."

Knupp says that jobs range in pay figures based on the position, but the starting pay is minimum wage which in Alabama is $7.25 per hour.
