HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — UPDATE: Huntsville police announced an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting on Pulaski Pike on October 12.
Huntsville Police responded to the 4000 block of Pulaski Pike at 10:50 a.m., where they found Jamie Darquez Cawthorne, 32, of Huntsville, deceased from gunshot wounds.
According to Huntsville Police, investigators identified Jerriance Dural Freeman, 38, of Huntsville, as a suspect and believe the shooting was the result of an altercation between Freeman and Cawthorne. Agents with the U.S. Marshals located and arrested Freeman in Colbert County. He will be extradited back to Huntsville and booked into the Madison County Jail.

One person is dead after a Saturday morning shooting in the 4000 block of Pulaski Pike that police are calling an "isolated incident".
The victim has been identified as Jamie Darquez Cawthorne, age 32.
Huntsville police say they responded to a possible gunshot victim and when they arrived, found one person shot, who died from the wound.
The incident remains under investigation.
