HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Celebrate veterans across the Tennessee Valley! Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11. City, county, and state offices are closed Friday in observance.
EVENTS:
Huntsville: Huntsville-Madison County Veterans Day Parade Saturday, November 11 beginning at 11:00 a.m., in downtown Huntsville.
Huntsville: U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum The U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum cordially invites you to a celebration of your service and sacrifice to our nation. Please join us for refreshments, a tour of the museum, and a time to share your stories with those in attendance. Admission is free to all.
Huntsville: Mad Malts Brewing is hosting an Celebration of Service on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Noon. There will be free lunch, live entertainment and games. The brewery is both kid and pet friendly.
Madison: Redstone Harley-Davidson is hosting an appreciation event on Saturday, November 11 from 12 to 3 p.m. Catering will be provided by the 'New Orleans Lunchbox' and live music will be by Wayward Son.
Athens: The Veterans Day Parade, organized by AMVETS, will be Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11:30 a.m. Parade will follow the Homecoming Parade route and start at Athens High, take Pryor to Shaw, Shaw to Hobbs, Hobbs to Jefferson, go around The Square, back to Jefferson and end at the Athens-Limestone Public Library.
Hanceville: The Wallace State Concert Band and Jazz Band will perform their “Salute to United States Veterans” on Thursday, Nov. 9 in the Recital Hall of the Burrow Center for Fine and Performing Arts. The concert will begin at 7 p.m.
Florence: The Veterans Day ceremony presented by the city of Florence and the Lauderdale County Commission will be 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at Veterans Memorial Park, Don Michael Drive.
Priceville: The City of Priceville will have the Morgan County Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Saturday, November 11 The parade will start at 10 a.m. and end at the Morgan County Veterans Memorial for the Ceremony at 11 a.m.

Applebee's: On November 11, active-duty military, veterans, reserves and National Guard that dine in-restaurant get a complimentary full-size entrée from a special menu. They will also receive a $5 Bounce Back Card to redeem for dine-in, To Go, or delivery within a three-week redemption window.
Biscuit Belly: Veterans get a special free lunch menu on November 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dine-in only.
BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse: On November 11, veterans with a valid military ID can dine in and enjoy a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie® with any $9.95+ purchase. In addition, veterans who spend more than $14.95 for dine in or takeout will receive a bounce back coupon for a free appetizer to redeem between November 12 and December 31, 2023.
Bonefish Grill: Active-duty service members and veterans get a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage on November 11 with valid ID.

Kroger will honor active and former military members and their dependents with a 10 percent discount in stores nationwide on Veterans Day. On Saturday, November 11, all service members, Veterans, and their dependents with a valid military ID are eligible for the promotion. This promotion excludes alcohol, tobacco products, fuel, money orders, taxes, postage stamps, Gift Cards/Certificates, lottery, promotional tickets, CRV, prescriptions and guest or customer service/fees. Shoppers must use their Rewards Card or Shopper’s Card to earn reward.
Logan's Roadhouse: Veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free meal with a valid ID from a special menu at participating locations on November 11. This offer is available for dine-in only from 11 am – 3 pm.
Outback Steakhouse: Active-duty military and veterans get a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage with the purchase of an adult entree in-restaurant on November 11.
Red Lobster: Veterans, active-duty military and reservists get free printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips from 11:00am to 4:00pm local time on November 11.
