HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The holiday season is a time for giving, and there are many ways you can help those in need throughout the Tennessee Valley. From food banks to foster care support, here’s a roundup of local charities where your donations can make a difference:

Christmas Charities Year Round (CCYR)

CCYR accepts donations like gently used clothing, durable medical equipment, and new toys (October to December). You can also make a financial contribution to help support Madison County residents. For more information, visit here.

Food Bank of North Alabama

Every dollar donated to the Food Bank of North Alabama helps provide nearly 7 meals to those in need. These meals are distributed through over 210 non-profit feeding programs across the region. Make a donation today here.

FOCAL – Foster Children Assistance

FOCAL supports foster children in Madison County, ensuring they have the same opportunities as other children. Donations help cover sports uniforms, graduation fees, and other needs for local foster kids. Learn more or donate here.

Manna House
