HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — This weekend has some events to keep in mind! 

The Market at MidCity - Every Sunday until November 10, from noon to 4 p.m., featuring 50 local vendors.

Ditto Landing’s Independence Day Celebration - Happening this Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. Featuring live music, food trucks, and fireworks. 

Rainsville Freedom Fest - This Saturday from 1 to 9:30 p.m. Featuring free activities for the kids from 3 to 7 p.m., Neal McCoy performance, and a firework show. 

Fireworks in the Park - Food vendors, face painting, inflatables for the kids and music. All happening this Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. 

River Rockin on the Lawn - Live music and fireworks on Saturday night from 7 to 9 p.m.

Athens Lions Club Kiddie Carnival - Athens' Kiddie Carnival is open, offering free admission and a variety of rides for one 50-cent ticket each until July 27, with concessions ranging from hamburgers to sno cones.

Independence Day Picnic at The Well Huntsville - Join the Well Huntsville this Sunday from 4:30 p.m. until after dark for their e annual Independence Day Picnic, featuring a water slide, refreshments, fireworks. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and swimsuits or a change of clothes to the event, open to all community members.

Merrimack Village Community Cleanup Day - Join the community for the Merrimack Village Community Cleanup Day on Saturday, June 29 from 9 to 11 a.m. Residents are invited to participate in helping their neighborhood by lending a hand. 

The Spongebob Musical - Catch the action at scheduled performances from June 27 to June 30 at various times. 

A Patriotic Celebration Show - The Asbury Orchestra and Chancel Choir perform this Sunday at 3 p.m. for "Songs of Courage, Gratitude, & Remembrance," featuring patriotic hymns and classic favorites. 

2024 Hydrofest at Lake Guntersville - The annual Guntersville Lake HydroFest is set for June 29-30, featuring two days of competitive racing as drivers compete for the Southern Cup title.

Community Dance Showcase - AAA Academy for Academics and Arts invites the community to celebrate cultural diversity through dance at the Community Dance Showcase on June 29 at 6 p.m.

HuntsvilleCon - On Sunday, June 30, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Huntsville.
