HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Are you ready to show off your creativity and promote a drug-free message? The Red Ribbon Photo Contest is kicking off, challenging families and schools to decorate for a drug-free message, with a chance to win an iPad and $1,000 for a local K-12 school!

Red Ribbon Week is celebrated every year from October 23 to 31. This week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life and gives parents, teachers, and communities a chance to share drug-free messages with children throughout the year.

According to the Red Ribbon contest page, there are two ways to enter: home or school decorating.

How to Enter:

  1. Decorate: Families are encouraged to put double-looped red ribbons on their front door, mailbox, or fence, following this year’s theme: “Life Is A Movie, Film Drug Free.” Schools can also participate by decorating their campus.
  2. Snap a Photo: Take a picture of your decoration (preferably with people included). Participants must be 18 years old, so parents or school staff should submit the photos for school entries.
  3. Get Votes: Encourage friends, family, and school contacts to vote for your photo on the contest website. The entries with the most votes will win!

For more details and terms, visit the Red Ribbon Contest page. Don’t miss your chance to celebrate drug-free living and showcase your creativity!

The contest is open from October 1 to November 1.
