UPDATE: The suspect’s and victim’s names have been released.
Jossie Bowen, 26, has been booked into the Marshall County Jail and charged with Murder. His bond is currently set at $200,000.
The victim has been named as Colton McKinney, 30, and is from Crossville. He is the ex-husband of the suspect’s sister.
Investigators currently believe that the suspect and his sister went to the Family Security Credit Union after learning that Colton was there, to confront him about a joint bank account that the victim still shared with his ex-wife. Once they arrived, there was a confrontation. McKinney was shot and died on the way to the hospital.
One person is dead after a shooting outside of Family Security Credit Union in Boaz Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say one person is in custody.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
