MADISON COUNTY, ALABAMA, Ala. — Election officials in Madison County are making sure people make their voices heard in the general election.
Throughout the month of October, Madison County Probate Judge Frank Barger and Circuit Clerk Debra Kizer will set up drive-thru Absentee Voter Assistance Sites out in the community.
They will be helping people apply for absentee ballots and notarize or witness absentee ballots. People can also drop off completed absentee ballots instead of mailing it.
Ballots will not be issued at the assistance sites. If you want to vote via "same-day" absentee ballot, you must do it on the first floor of the Madison County Courthouse on any business day from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Thursday, October 1 - Elmore Gymnasium at Alabama A&M University
Friday, October 2 - Sandra Moon Community Complex located at 7901 Bailey Cove Road in Huntsville
Monday, October 5 - Monrovia Community Center located at 254 Allen Drake Drive (west off of Jeff Road) in Huntsville
Tuesday, October 6 - Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ located at 124 Eastwood Drive (corner of Eastwood/facing Hwy 431 S) in Owens Cross Roads
Wednesday, October 7 - Trash Panda Stadium on Toyota Field at Town Madison Follow the signs from the west side of Zierdt Road just south of Madison Boulevard/I-565 overpass
Thursday, October 8 - Plainview Church of Christ located at 14500 Hwy 231/431 North in Hazel Green
Each Weekday from October 19 to October 29 - Madison County Courthouse East Side Square (Washington Street/one way heading north) on the Courthouse Square in Downtown Huntsville
Each drive-thru will be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
