Governor Ivey offers $5,000 Reward for information on explosive device detonation at Alabama Attorney General's Office

It exploded at about 3:42 a.m. on February 24, according to the state law enforcement agency. No one was injured and no building damage was reported.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Alabama Governor Kay Ivey announced Monday that her office is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved with the explosive device that was detonated at the Alabama Attorney General’s Office. The incident occurred on Feb. 24, around 3:42 a.m., near the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Bainbridge Street in downtown Montgomery.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, alongside the Federal Bureau of Investigation Mobile and the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, is asking the public's help in identifying a person of interest linked to the crime. There were no reported injuries or damage to nearby structures.
