Authorities need your help locating burglary suspects who stole (24) 17-gallon barrels of Tungston metal powder worth $186,000. They were also seen at a metal plant in Shelbyville, KY during a similar incident.

The Huntsville Police Department, along with the ATF and the FBI, is searching for a dark colored Ford F-150 with a camper shell. It was pulling a triple axle utility trailer with high walls. Police say that they have a former employee in mind as a suspect, but they still need to find the vehicle, as that former employee doesn’t own it.

It happened at Kennematal, Inc. on Hwy 20 Saturday, Jan. 4, between 10:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

The burglars are also suspects at another metal distributor in Jackson, Tenn. where the same truck was seen at their plant on Jan. 2. The suspects were let into the building but were then told to wait outside after suspicious behavior was noticed. The suspects left the area instead of waiting. They were also seen in a metal plant in Shelbyville, Ky. during a similar incident.

If you see this truck and trailer, notify Investigator Kevin Spratt at (256) 883-3791 or kevin.spratt@huntsvilleal.gov.
