THE QUESTION:

THE ANSWER:

WHAT WE FOUND:

Foods that are liquids, like gravy, gels, or aerosols must comply with the 3-1-1 liquids rule.
This means foods have to be in containers 3.4 ounces or smaller that can fit in a 1-quart sized resealable bag.
For example:

Here’s another tip to consider when bringing food on your flight!
“If you’re going to be on a flight that’s very late or very early, pack some snacks like some packaged nuts. Some fruit, things like that. But stay away from yogurt and soft items that are several ounces cause that might be something you won’t be able to take with you through TSA,” added Swanstrom.
