Every wondered what goes on behind-the-scenes a major disaster drill? Huntsville Airport is giving 100 people the chance to find out.
They’re holding a full-scale disaster drill of a simulated plane crash and need volunteers to play the roles of victims. Actors will see first hand the airport public safety and operational procedures to include fire, police and EMS, as well as crisis management, that go into handling a major disaster.
These drills ensure that the airport and our community mutual aid partners are prepared in the event of a real incident or emergency.
Volunteers must be available Wednesday, September 18th from 7am – 2pm and must provide their own transportation to the facility if selected. Lunch will be provided.
If you’d like to participate, please contact Sabrena Aaron at 256.258.1240 or saaron@hsvairport.org.
