Alabama A&M vs Mississippi Valley State postponed until April

The football game scheduled between Mississippi Valley State and Alabama A&M slated to be played on Saturday, March 6th has been postponed due to Covid-19 protocols.

ITTA BENA, Miss — Alabama A&M football fans will have to way even longer to see their football team play in the SWAC's spring 2021 season. 

The football game scheduled between Mississippi Valley State and Alabama A&M slated to be played on Saturday, March 6th has been postponed due to Covid-19 protocols.

This action follows the guidelines and protocols set by the league and its COVID-19 Advisory Committee.

The game has been rescheduled to be played on Saturday, April 24th with kick-off ste to be at 3:00 p.m.

This is second game that has been postponed for Mississippi Valley State. The Delta Devils' season opener against Jackson State was rescheduled for March 14th, due to a positive Covid-19 test in the MVSU program. 

Alabama A&M will have to wait until March 20th to face their first opponent now. The Bulldogs were scheduled to play Alcorn State on February 27th, but the Braves opted out of the spring 2021 season.

The Bulldogs will travel to Prairie View on March 20th.
