2024 Nick's Kids Luncheon

The 2024 Nick’s Kids Foundation Luncheon was held on Wednesday afternoon in The North Zone at Bryant-Denny Stadium with checks totaling just over $625,000!

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The annual Nick’s Kids Foundation Luncheon was held on Wednesday afternoon in The North Zone at Bryant-Denny Stadium with checks totaling just over $625,000 were presented to local and state non-profit organizations.

Since Nick and Terry Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2007, over $13 million has been given to deserving charities and organizations throughout the state and surrounding areas.

“Like I have always said that this is one of my favorite days of the year,” said former Alabama head coach Nick Saban. “It is a bit different to be holding this event and not have a football season to be looking forward to and preparing for, although we are looking forward to football season getting here real soon and we are looking forward to watching Alabama football take the next step.

“Today is all about the kids and how we can help people in our community have a better quality of life and how to become more successful in their life. I am really happy and proud of all the people that have supported Nick’s Kids through the years, and I am especially appreciative of Miss Terry for her time and effort of trying to help as many people as she can in our community. Now I have a little bit more time to help her do that which we are super excited about and are looking forward to.”

In 2024, some of the Nick's Kids Foundation projects included the Saban Center, which is a legacy project that will elevate education on one campus in Tuscaloosa. It will combine STEM programs and the arts to provide a unique and interactive learning experience for children in West Alabama.

Nick’s Kids also partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build their 21st house in Tuscaloosa, the “LANK House,” to honor the 2023 SEC Championship team. They helped with the PARA of Tuscaloosa County All-Inclusive Playground and presented a check to Freedom Farm, a home for abused, abandoned and at-risk kids.

Joining the Sabans at Wednesday’s luncheon were student-athletes Tyler Booker, James Burnip, CJ Dippre, Wilkin Formby, Justice Haynes, Tim Keenan III, Kendrick Law, Malachi Moore, Robbie Ouzts, Kadyn Proctor, Jaeden Roberts and Que Robinson.

The Nick’s Kids Foundation is the official charity of Nick and Terry Saban. The Nick’s Kids Foundation is a 501©3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and resources for deserving organizations throughout the state of Alabama and Southeast. As the official charity of Nick Saban and his family, Nick and Terry invest their time and energy hosting luncheons, golf tournaments, scrimmages and other events to benefit the cause. The proceeds are given in support of children, family, teacher and student causes.
