TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Alabama men's basketball team announced its non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season Tuesday. The season will officially tip off on Monday, Nov. 4 against UNC Asheville inside Coleman Coliseum.
The Crimson Tide's non-conference slate includes six games at Coleman Coliseum highlighted by a Dec. 14 matchup against Creighton. Away from Tuscaloosa, the Tide will play four opponents who played in the 2024 NCAA Tournament in Houston, Illinois, North Carolina and Purdue.
Tip times and television designations will be released at a later time. Fans interested in season tickets can fill out the season ticket interest form at app.rolltide.com/mbbticketinterest. Fans who fill out this form will receive exclusive presale access to season tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
While this year's C.M. Newton Classic will not be a part of the Alabama men's basketball season ticket package, fans who have purchased season tickets for the 2024-25 campaign will receive priority seating to the event. Alabama men's basketball season ticket holders will have first access to tickets through the Season Ticket Renewal Process, which is set to begin July 10.
2024-25 Schedule Highlights
- Of the 13 games during Alabama's non-conference schedule, the Tide will face seven opponents who participated in the NCAA Tournament last season
- Five of Alabama's opponents in its non-conference schedule are ranked in ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25 in No. 4 Houston, No. 10 North Carolina, No. 14 Creighton, No. 15 Purdue and No. 25 Rutgers
- Nine of Alabama's opponents won 20 games or more last season including three teams that reached 30 wins
- The Tide will face Houston, North Carolina and Purdue, who were all No. 1 seeds in the 2024 NCAA Tournament
- Alabama will begin the season playing its first three games at Coleman Coliseum
- The Crimson Tide will play in four neutral site games, highlighted with Illinois in Birmingham for the C.M. Newton Classic
- The Tide will spend Thanksgiving weekend in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Players Era Festival against Houston and will face either Notre Dame or Rutgers in the second game
