The AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach Championships is an event unlike any other, debuting the first-ever college pairs tournament, a format that is drastically different from the traditional team format that is typically played at the college level, and the first-ever men’s collegiate team tournament.
Last year, Kylie DeBerg / Ellie Shank from LSU were crowned as the first-ever national collegiate pairs champion, with Sutton Mactavish / Ana Vergara from TCU taking second place and Allison Hansen / Abbie Hughes from GCU taking third place. Westcliff University claimed the men’s title, defeating Webber International in the championship matchup.
