Two of the most popular teams in baseball, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees, go head to head. Here's how to watch.

LOS ANGELES — It's that time of year. The 2024 World Series, pitting the Los Angeles Dodgers against the News York Yankees, starts on Friday. October 25. Here's how and when to watch:

All games will be broadcast on FOX, and you can watch them right here on FOX54. All times are Central.

Game 1 - Friday, Oct. 25, 7:00pm at Dodger Stadium (MLB World Series Pregame Show 6:00pm)

The Yankees and the Dodgers have met in the World Series a record 11 times, and this year will make 12.

Longtime Dodger favorite Fernando Valenzuela passed away on October 22. The team plans to wear a number 34 uniform patch in his honor during the World Series. His pitching career stretched for 17 years, 10 years of those with the Dodgers. He was a National League All-Star from 1981-1986. After he retired from baseball, he returned to the Dodgers as a broadcaster for 21 years, from 2023 to 2024. His number 34 was retired in 2023
