The MLB draft in it’s final day Saturday and Tennessee Valley locals continue to be selected.
Former Sparkman star Austin Sexton was picked up by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 18th round and Huntsville High School’s Graham Ashcraft is also one of those lucky few.
The Panthers standout was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 12th round with the 371st overall pick.
The right-hander is committed to play for Mississippi State.
