Alabama guard Kira Lewis Jr., a 6-foot-2, 165-pound sophomore from Meridianville, Ala., averaged 18.5 points, 8.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and one block against No. 11 Auburn and No. 25 LSU.
The former Hazel Green High School standout became the second player in UA history to record a triple-double with 10 points and career-best numbers of 10 rebounds and 13 assists (compared to just one turnover) in 45 minutes of action at Auburn. Twelve of his 13 assists on the night directly resulted in made threes for the Tide. Lewis followed that performance with a game-high 27 points to go with four assists and three steals against LSU.
