TEGNA Inc.’s Locked On HBCU Podcast with host Reggie Flood debuted this week. WZDX FOX 54 Sports Director Mo Carter along with Tolly Carr of HBCU Gameday joined Flood on the debut episode to break down football in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
After attending SWAC Media Day in Birmingham last month, Carr and Carter commented on where they think SWAC favorites Alabama A&M, Southern, newcomers Florida A&M and others are projected to finish in the conference and what makes each top team a threat in their division.
The trio also chatted about what Jackson State will have to do to be contenders, what Alcorn State needs to do after opting out of spring 2021 season, and why was Arkansas Pine Bluff picked 5th in the Western Division, despite winning the division in the spring.
Locked On HBCU will be available across TEGNA markets and on the Audacy app, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Facebook Podcasts, Stitcher and other podcast platforms.
