MADISON, Ala — The Los Angeles Angels have promoted infielder Chad Stevens to Triple-A Salt Lake from the Rocket City Trash Pandas on Saturday.

The Rocket City roster is now at 27 players.

Stevens was assigned to the Trash Pandas on July 29 after being named the Northwest League Player of the Month in July with High-A Tri-City.

In 17 games for the Trash Pandas, Stevens hit for a .316 average with two home runs and 10 RBI.

The Angels signed Stevens as a minor league free agent after starting his career with the Houston Astros organization. Stevens was drafted in the 11th round of the 2021 First-Year Player Draft.

Stevens reached as high as Double-A Corpus Christi where he played from 2023-2024.

Now joining Salt Lake, this will be Stevens’ first time on a Triple-A roster.
