Rocket City Trash Pandas host Cat Night on June 6

For one night only, Trash Pandas fans can bring their feline friends to the ball park.

MADISON, Ala. — Yes, you read that right. For one night only, the Rocket City Trash Pandas are hosting your feline friends for Take Meow-t to the Ballgame Cat Night at Toyota Field. Game time is 6:35.

On June 6, cat owners can enjoy a game with their furry, non-dog friends. Cat Night will also include a Pete the Cat appearance and a pet supplies drive to support Catty Shack Inc., a non-profit cat rescue and lounge based at Huntsville's Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment.

Cat Night Rules:

  • Waivers must be completed before entering Toyota Field. Click HERE for the waiver.
  • Cats are only allowed in the designated areas: Only in the outfield from foul pole to foul pole, including the Inline Electric Rock Porch, the Berm (tickets for $8) and Sections 1 & 2 (tickets for $16). Cats are NOT allowed in any other seats.
  • Cats must be on a leash or in a secure carrying case at all times.
  • Attendees must clean up after their pets and promptly dispose of waste.
  • Cats may not be left unattended.

The Rocket City Trash Pandas have announced their promotions schedule for the upcoming 2024 season at Toyota Field, including:

“We’re thrilled to kick off another season of Trash Pandas baseball,” said Ricky Fernandez, Director of Marketing and Promotions. “With the promotions schedule released, fans can truly get excited for spring and start planning their trips to Toyota Field.”

Rocket City will commemorate various holidays with special games, including:

  • Juneteenth on June 8
  • Independence Day on July 4
  • Christmas in July on July 25
  • Labor Day Weekend on September 1

The team will again transform into the ‘Lunaticos de Rocket City’ for three dates during the season on May 23, July 14, and August 11 as part of Minor League Baseball’s Copa de la Diversión program.

Highlighted group outing games also include:

  • Agriculture Night on July 11
  • Runners Night on August 6
  • Construction Workers Appreciation on August 8
  • Football and Cheer Night on August 28
  • Basketball Night on September 4
