GLENDALE, Ariz. β€” FINAL: 38-35 Chiefs win Super Bowl LVII

4Q 0:08 - Following a pass interference penalty on Pleasant Grove native and Samford alum James Bradberry, the Chiefs kick a field goal to take a 38-35 lead. 

4Q 5:15 - Alabama alumni Davonta Smith and Jalen Hurts execute a 45-yard pass to the 1-yard line, followed by a Hurts QB sneak for 2 yards for the touchdown and successful 2-point conversion.

4Q 9:26 - Toney with the 2 biggest plays in his career: game-tying touchdown catch then a 90+-yard punt return that sets up touchdown separated by a field goal.

4Q 12:04 - Mobile native and Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney catches a wide open touchdown to tie the game at 27. Point-after attempt was successful to make it 28-27 KC.

3Q - Chiefs keep the ball at the end of the 3rd quarter. Eagles still lead 27-21.

3Q 6:08 - A review and subsequent challenge by Andy Reid took over 5 minutes to confirm a catch by Dallas Goedert. Thoughts?

3Q 8:14 - Athens native and Athens High alumnus Quez Watkins gets his first target and catch of the game. This was his first catch of the postseason.

3Q 9:21 - A potential second scoop-and-score touchdown for Chiefs LB Nick Bolton overturned as Eagles RB Miles Sanders didn't complete the catch. Eagles retain a 24-21 lead ... for now. 

3Q 9:30 - Isiah Pacheco, a native of Vineland, New Jersey - a suburb just over 40 miles southeast of Philadelphia - scores a touchdown against his childhood team in the Super Bowl.

2H - Mahomes returns to the field for the second half after being in visible pain regarding his ankle.

Here's a look at the construction for the stage in the commercial break.

7:22 - Eagles add a field goal as the 1st Half comes to a close. 35 yards. 24-14 Eagles. RIHANNA TIME !!

7:05 PM - Patrick Mahomes is limping off the field following a tackle late in the second quarter. 

6:59 - Jalen Hurts bounces back from his fumble and runs for 48 yards on a 12-play scoring drive. Hurts caps off the drive with 4 yard rushing touchdown. 21-14 Eagles. FIRST HALF TWO MINUTE WARNING.

6:40 - Jalen Hurts fumbles the ball around midfield, inadvertently kicks it, and Nick Bolton returns it 36 yards for a Chiefs touchdown. 14-14 with 9:39 left in the 2nd Quarter.

6:25 - On the first play of the second quarter, Jalen Hurts throws a 45 yard touchdown pass to A.J. Brown. Eagles retakes the lead and goes up 14-7.

 

6:14 PM - Chiefs line up for a 42 yard field by Harrison Butker. But the field goal hits the upright. We're still tied 7-7 with 2:24 left in the first quarter. 

6:06 PM - Jalen Hurts and the Eagles go 3-and-out on their next drive. Philly is forced to punt. 

5:59 PM - Chiefs respond with a TD of their own. Patrick Mahomes with a TD pass to Travis Kelce. We're tied 7-7 midway in the 1st quarter. 

5:53 PM - Touchdown Eagles! Jalen Hurts with the QB sneak. Eagles lead 7-0.

5:50 PM - Former Alabama standout and Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith has halled in 41 receiving yards on the first drive of the game.

5:40 - The Chiefs win the coin toss. Eagles will receive the opening kickoff. 

5:32 PM - 8-time Grammy Award winner Chris Stapleton performs the National Anthem.

5:28 PM - 12-time Grammy Award winner Babyface performs "America The Beautiful"

5:23 - The Lombardi Trophy makes its first appearance of the day!

5:22 PM - Former Alabama standout Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles have entered the field

5:19 PM - Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have entered the field

5:15 PM - Hollywood actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, best known for her roles on "Moesha" and "Abbott Elementary" performed "Life Every Voice and Sing" 

5:12 PM - Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott received his trophy as the winner of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.

5:09 PM - The first responders who saved Damar Hamlin's life were honored prior to kickoff of Super Bowl LVII. Following their segment, Hamlin joined them gave everyone large hugs.
