HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville City Football Club (HCFC) is gearing up for the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Season with the announcement of six new player signings. The new additions include defenders Kessy Coulibaly and Tomás Ritondale, midfielders Patrick Amarh and Sergi Oriol, and forwards Ronald Alexis Cerritos and Maximus Ekk.
Jack Collison, the Head Coach of Huntsville City FC, expressed confidence in the newly signed players, stating, “These players all have high ceilings and instantly add valuable experience to our club. We believe each of these individuals will help us build on past success and contribute valuable minutes toward our goal of excelling at an attacking brand of soccer, making the playoffs, and developing a deep pipeline of talent for the Senior Team in Nashville.”
With the new roster additions, the club has also mutually agreed to part ways with forward Azaad Liadi. Huntsville City FC currently has 10 players under contract for the upcoming season, with additional support expected from parent club Nashville SC. Some of those players include Nashville’s first Homegrown Player Adem Sipić, 2023 MLS SuperDraft 11th overall pick Joey Skinner, Leagues Cup star Elliot Panicco, and NSC’s all-time assist leader Randall Leal.
