NASHVILLE, Tenn. β The Titans selected Auburn cornerback Roger McCreary in the second round of Friday night's NFL Draft.
McCreary was taken with the 35th overall pick.
McCreary (6-0, 190) was a first team All-America by The Athletic, Associated Press, and ESPN in 2021, when he was a Bednarik Award semifinalist.
McCreary had 135 career tackles with six interceptions, 135 tackles and 32 pass breakups.
A former three-star recruit who played his way into some first-round projections by coming back for his senior season, McCreary led the SEC with 14 pass breakups in the regular season β just one shy of tying Chris Davis' single-season Auburn record from 2013. McCreary was Pro Football Focus' highest-graded cornerback in the Power Five in the regular season and led the nation in forced incompletions (20).
