MADISON, Ala — If it wasn't for Covid-19, we would be over halfway through the Trash Pandas very first season. But for fans, Toyota Field is offering alternative events and this week it was a private meeting with the team's manager.
"Man i love meeting people who are passionate about this game," says Jay Bell.
No one is more excited than Trash Pandas Manager Jay Bell after speaking with local fans. The former World Series Champ will be in town today and tomorrow to meet fans who sign up for the meet and greet. The event is in complicance with CDC guidelines and is offerning great food and conversation.
"I've missed it. i miss being at the ballpark," says Bell. "Again i get to scratch my itch a little bit throwing batting practice with my son and catching one of them's sides. but you know to be at a ballpark, and one as lovely as this, is certainly a huge thrill so thanks for coming out today. i appreciate spending the time with you."
