HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Weather permitting, beginning Monday, April 1, at 9 a.m., a long-anticipated closure of James Record Road/Martin Road between Trademark Drive and Electronics Boulevard will take place for bridge replacement over Bradford Creek as part of Phase II of the Martin Road Improvement Project.
The bridgework is part of the 1.6-mile, five-lane roadway that includes 4-foot bike lanes and 5-feet sidewalks on each side of the bridge between Old Jim Williams Road and Laracy Drive. The project is expected to take about two years to complete.
Drivers heading to Martin Road will take Wall Triana Highway to Trademark Drive. Drivers heading from Martin Road to Wall Triana Highway will take Trademark Drive.
