IMPORTANT NOTICE: WARMING CENTER OPEN TOMORROW AT HANDS ACROSS DECATUR. Hands Across Decatur was scheduled to be closed for MLK day tomorrow, January 17.However, due to the frigid and wet weather, we will be open from 7 am until 12 pm as a warming center for anyone who needs it.
Winter Storm Warning canceled. Precipitation has come to an end for all counties previously in the Winter Storm Warning. Below freezing temperatures overnight may result in patchy ice on roads, as well as slick spots on bridges and overpasses.
Please exercise caution if traveling overnight.
Conditions continue to deteriorate, especially in higher elevations.

Roads in DeKalb County are becoming slick and dangerous. Multiple reports of dangerous travel conditions are being reported on state highways, as well as, county roadways. If you must travel do so with caution. Only necessary travel is advised.
