CNI Solutions host holiday party for seniors at Bob Harrison Center

CNI Solutions encourages the Tennessee Valley to remember senior citizens during holiday festivities.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — CNI Solutions wants the Tennessee Valley to remember senior citizens during the holidays.

Oftentimes organizations will host events for children and families, but leave out senior citizens.

CNI Solutions provided goodie bags equipped with deodorant, hats, scarves, lotions and a hand towel.

Jacqueline Wilson, a member of the Bob Harrison Center is thankful that CNI Solutions hosted the event.

"During the holidays, of course, it's a time of sadness... for some, happiness," Wilson explained. "Some of them are, you know, widows or widowers. Some of them don't have their children or near them, and a lot of families don't really visit their family, their elders like they should. This is a really hard time for some of our seniors and sometimes, we don't check on our seniors like we need to."
