HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — One of Huntsville's most popular live music shows is back.
Concerts in the Park, hosted by Arts Huntsville and the City of Huntsville Parks and Recreation, holds first concert Monday June 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Big Spring Park.
Due to the pandemic, the two-month long event was cancelled and only held one live performance and three virtual experiences in 2020.
Arts Huntsville Development and Media Relations Manager, Danielle Hart, said they are excited to put on concerts again from June 7 through August 9.
“We are excited to come back bigger and better this year and the musicians and vendors are excited to have people at the park to have some fun,” Hart said.
The concert has a variety of artists and bands in different genres like the Unique Live Band and Victoria Jones.
10 local food vendors will also be at the concerts and the best part is the concerts are free and free parking will be available.
Hart said it is just a great space to get people together after this tough year we all had, especially artists. And you can even bring your dog.
“The art sector was hit hard by the pandemic, so it is important to come out and show the musicians some love,” Hart said.
