How you can submit comments to the Huntsville Police Department

The Huntsville Police Department is listening to public comments about incidents surrounding protests in downtown Huntsville.

At last Thursday's Huntsville City Council Meeting, Huntsville Police Chief Mark McMurray said that their department is in a "watch and listen" phase as he prepares for a report on the Huntsville Police Department's actions in response to protesters in downtown Huntsville.

Good evening and welcome. I would now like to call this the city Council meeting to order if make sure that you're cellphone, you make sure it's either an airplane mode and or on it is our custom that we start with an indication which will be followed by a pledge of allegiance and are blessed to have my pastor.

McMurray says that his department is reviewing intel, body cam footage, and activities from the protest events as he prepares his report.
