LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — A pursuit led to a crash and foot chase when a suspect fled from Limestone County narcotics investigators in Salem Wednesday afternoon.
The Limestone County Sheriff's Office says that a suspect stole an SUV from a parking lot led deputies on pursuit went into Tennessee and back to State Line Rd and Cave Branch Rd, where he crashed the vehicle.
The suspect fled on foot and was caught by a deputy, who reportedly fought with the suspect. Both reported injuries and were taken to Athens-Limestone Hospital.
