- A 30-foot-tall castle of lights at the entrance to the concessions area.
- Multiple food and beverage stations along the Walking Nights route.
- Larger-than-life snow globes and interactive lights in Holiday Lane, allowing visitors to become part of the light show.
The Galaxy of Lights will also host two holiday-themed runs in December:
The timed 5K Race (3.1 miles) will take place Monday, Dec. 2, with the course winding through the Galaxy of Lights trail. The race will start in two waves, beginning at 6 p.m. Pets, strollers, headphones, and non-registered participants are not allowed. Registration is $35 per runner, and each participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
The 3K Fun Run/Walk (1.8 miles) is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 3, with a 6:30 p.m. start time. The course, like the 5K, will wind through the light displays and features a mix of paved and gravel paths. The 3K is not a timed race but will include holiday music, festive lights, and prizes. Registration is $25 for participants ages 11 and older, and $15 for children ages 3-10.
