HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Join FOX 54 Sports Director Mo Carter for Huntsville Heart Walk 2022.
The Huntsville Heart Walk returns as an in-person and virtual event, and people will be able to participate in the walk at full capacity.
This event helps raise money for the American Heart Association.
Walkers are encouraged to fundraise, but there is no requirement or registration fee, although personal donations are accepted.
Promoting healthy habits is in the fabric of the association. Hosting this walk further proves this.
Stephanie Cline, Heart Walk Director, says, "We just want people to know how easy it is to get out, to move, to get going. Even if it's just playing soccer with their kids, throwing the football, throwing baseballs. We just want people to get out and get moving because we know that as you move - your physical activity just kind of increases your heart health."
Grab your walking shoes and join where you are or in-person on May 14, 2022 on Courthouse Square in Huntsville. Huntsville Heart Walk says that when you register, you save more babies and kids who have congenital heart defects, train thousands in life-saving CPR, fund groundbreaking brain and heart research, and champion health equity for all.
