MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. — On August 7th, Marshall County Investigators were contacted by a neighboring agency in reference to a report of a sex crime involving a juvenile that occurred in Marshall County.
On Tuesday, August 13th, the Marshall County Criminal Investigations Division conducted a search and seizure of electronic devices. After a subsequent interview with the alleged offender, an arrest warrant was obtained.

Adam Wayne Atchley, 37, of Grant was taken into custody at the Marshall County Sheriff's Office on charges of Electronic Solicitation of a Child and Transmitting Obscene Material to a Child.
His bond has been set at $40,000.00.
The Grant Police Department, Marshall County District Attorney's Office, and the Marshall County Drug Task Force assisted in the apprehension of Atchley.
