DECATUR, Ala. — After being closed for over a month, the Morgan County Courthouse reopened their doors Monday morning with social distancing guidelines in place.
Employees must wear PPE while at work. They also have glass walls to separate employees and visitors.
The drivers license office is open by appointment only. A table is set up outside for people to sign in.
Morgan County Commission Chairman Ray Long said, "It'll never be normal like we know is normal, but we're getting back toward that direction, and so I think people appreciate it, and I know all the employees in the courthouse are excited that we're back open as best to normal as we can."
Playgrounds and athletic facilities in Morgan County are still closed.
