Rainbow Elementary encouraging students to spread positivity during closure

Principal Brian Givens is asking his kids to make videos with inspiring messages.

MADISON, Ala. — The Principal of Rainbow Elementary in Madison is keeping his kids busy during the school closure with a "Quarantine Challenge."

Principal Brian Givens made a video showing his kids how there were a lot of fun things he wanted to try at the empty school, but nothing was the same without them there.

Usually Principal Givens gets to share positive messages during his morning announcements, but now with school out, he has challenged his kids to create one minute videos that share a positive message of some kind.

Once the kids share their videos, the Principal will give them points towards their designated school houses, which are basically teams.

One lucky student will get a $20 dollar Chick-fil-A gift card hand delivered by Principal Givens.
