HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — The North Alabama Red Cross Board is holding its Fourth Annual Iron Bowl Blood Drive on Nov. 19 at the Red Cross Huntsville Donor Room.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1015 Airport Rd. SW. Potential donors will get to choose if they #BleedCrimson or #BleedAuburn in support of their favorite teams.
All potential donors, regardless of whether they are actually able to give blood, will be entered for a chance to win coupons and certificates for local businesses.
The American Red Cross said it is in critical need of donors of all blood types going into this holiday season. The organization also said it is in need of Convalescent Plasma from those who have completely recovered from COVID-19 to help treat those currently going through treatment for the virus.
