MADISON, Alabama — The Chick-Fil-A in Madison wanted to alleviate traffic problems on Highway 72, so they moved to a less congested location right down the street. The new restaurant is near Cliff Farms.
Lines were wrapped around the building during their grand re-opening.
"Our previous location, we would get our drive-thru, as we got busy backed up onto Highway 72 and it would cause congestion problems," said Madison Chick-Fil-A operator Norman Dull. "So, with this drive-thru having two lanes all the way around and then the building being much larger, it allows my team to be faster."
This location is further off of the main road, and the building is bigger which means the restaurant can serve more guests.
"It should really help us serve our guests in a better way and keep traffic off of Highway 72," Dull said.
To help get through the line faster, or avoid it altogether, you can place a pickup order.
"We're so excited, we've been here for 22 years serving our guests and we love our community," Dull said.
