HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — On December 16, the Huntsville City Council unanimously voted to approve the city administration's redistricting plan. According to the city, approximately 15,000 Huntsville voters have new council and school board districts.
Under the new plan, there are line shifts in all five council districts, which also apply to board of education district lines. To find out if you're impacted by these changes, the city has set up a website in which you can enter your home address and see who your City Council and school board representatives are.
According to the city, the new plan was created using input from city leaders and residents who attended the 12 public meetings held throughout the city's five districts and at City Hall.
